Abstract Submission Guidlines



  • Formatted in MS-Word and written in English
  • Thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar before submission
  • The abstract should contain the presentation title, which should be in capital alphabets (except for scientific/species names)
  • The abstract should include brief introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusion
  • Keywords: at least 4 words
  • Name of all authors should be given with superscript numbers
  • Indicate the corresponding author with a superscript asterisk
  • Full address of all authors should be italicized and given with superscript numbers
  • Underline the presenting author's name
  • Font: Times New Roman, Point 11
  • The content of abstract should not exceed 400 words
  • Do not include references, photographs or figures in the abstract

Summary of Abstract Submission Instructions

Please read through the ACTMP 2018 Abstract Guidelines document before preparing your abstract:

Step 1: Read the general policies and requirements for the submission of abstracts.

Step 2: Write your abstract following the abstract format & layout guidelines.

Step 3: Download the Abstract Template in the website and insert/add your abstract text.

Save as a *.doc  or *.docx document to your computer.

Step 4: Click on the button at the bottom of the post to complete the Abstract Submission Form. It will be necessary to attach/upload the *.doc or *.docx copy of your abstract.


Abstract Template and Sample Abstract

Authors must prepare their abstract in advance using this template. The abstract submission form will generate a final PDF abstract including the details entered in the system and the body of the uploaded abstract document.

All abstracts will be checked and if you don’t follow the guidelines, your abstract may be declined.


Notification of Acceptance

Notifications of acceptance will be sent via e-mail to the submitting author by Friday 18 May 2018. Abstracts submitted for oral or symposium presentations that cannot be accommodated within the program will be considered and reviewed for a place in the Poster display.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference proceedings. The Conference Managers will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the website or for submission errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.
